Who am I?
Really, I am simply simple. I am a twenty-two-year-old small town girl living this incredible, out-of-control, ship-afloat life, and learning how to trust Jesus a little more every day. I am just a passenger in Christ’s journey, the voice and vessel of someone so much greater than myself. That voice, for me, mostly comes from writing. In high school a friend encouraged me to start a blog and ever since then I have kept up with it. It has become an escape for me. A place where I could string together words in whatever way I wanted. A place where I could create. A place where I could exhale. A place where I could be honest with myself and the world. A place where ultimately I could point people to Jesus.
Right now I am a junior at Clayton State University, majoring in Communications. I am coaching high school volleyball for the third year in a row, where I have the honor of investing in high school aged girls. I attend Passion City Church in Atlanta, GA.
What is next for me is still up in the air. For now, I’ll just be an explorer, an inquisitive soul with a pondering heart. Watching and living, and writing about it along the way.
One of my mentors, Christy Nockels, once told me, “Only you can speak in your tone of voice.”
So here goes nothing.
I am glad you found your way to me. I hope you leave with your faith refueled, hope restored, and encouraged.
